Outreach Director
Jade Hale
Jade originates from North Belfast and attended Belfast Royal Academy School, before going on to graduate from University of Ulster with a BSc (Hons) degree in Marketing. Jade’s work with KIC began at the age of 13 when she connected with the project through an outreach programme on the Manor Street peaceline.
Jade is an accomplished performer who has travelled and performed widely in Europe with KIC and absorbed training from some of Europe’s foremost youth theatre practitioners. She is now Assistant Director on KIC Core Projects and Outreach Director for a range of community-based projects in some of Belfast’s most disadvantaged areas.
In her work as Outreach Director Jade is facilitating projects with hard-to-reach young people in areas of social and economic deprivation, with little or no access to the arts. These outreach projects have produced work voicing the concerns and opinions of youth on urgent issues, including mental health, suicide awareness and community safety, and a portfolio of podcast/film video work with Little Pain Productions reaching thousands of young people.
