Rogue Encounters formerly Kids in Control

Rogue Encounters offers people of all abilities and backgrounds an opportunity to make dynamic physical theatre with a dedicated, experienced professional team.

We make theatre from the shared imaginings and life experiences of any group.

We aim for authentic inclusion and diversity, cutting through traditional divisions of physical and learning ability, religion, race, and social background.

Skill-sharing and empathy between participants are the cornerstones of our artistic practice.

We value diversity, tolerance, and creative generosity in all our work.

We at the University of Ulster are keenly aware of the critical work that KIC carries out and the wholly meaningful contribution they make; to the lives of their young people and in terms of promoting their social inclusion and acceptance in the wider community.
